A high-quality midfielder, Silvia Rubio Ávila was born in Madrid on 12 October 2000 and developed as a player at Madrid CFF, for whom she scored four goals in 115 appearances across five seasons. Three of these finishes came during the 2021/22 campaign, including a brace against Villarreal in November 2021. She joined AC Milan in the summer of 2022, but concluded her first season with only one appearance due to an injury sustained during her debut, against Fiorentina. After a long and tough recovery, she made 15 appearances in the 2023/34 season and scored her first goal against Sampdoria. Also noteworthy is her youth career at international level: she was part of the Spanish squads that reached the European Under-17 Championship final in 2016 and the Under-20 World Cup final in 2018.
