    SUZANNE BAKKER'S PLAYING CAREER

Suzanne Bakker started out in the youth set-ups of Apollo '68 and VV Reiger Boys before moving to FC Utrecht in 2007 where she would compete in the Dutch top division for women's football, the Vrouwen Eredivisie. She continued her playing career at ASV Wartburgia until 2014, picking up five appearances for the Netherlands Under-19 Women's National Team along the way.

SUZANNE BAKKER'S CAREER AS A COACH

Suzanne Bakker's coaching career began with ASV Wartburgia, before continuing elsewhere in 2017/18 when she joined Excelsior/Barendrecht as an assistant coach. In the following season, she moved to the Ajax Vrouwen Talent Team and in 2022, became the Head Coach of the Ajax Women's First Team. In 2023/24, she coached the side to a second-place finish in the domestic league and registered a good campaign in the Women's Champions League: the squad exited the competition following quarter-final clash against Chelsea, having survived a difficult group stage with PSG, Bayern Munich and Roma (winning every home game). She joined AC Milan in summer 2024.
