It was a difficult Sunday for Milan Primavera, who suffered a tough loss against Hellas Verona on Matchday 28. The first match of the month finished 4-0 to the Gialloblu, scoring two in each half (Agbonifo and Nwachukwu first half, then Pavanati and Vermeșan). It was a flawless performance, and Hellas Verona gave Guidi's side no space or time on the ball. The Rossoneri struggled with players out due to injuries and commitments to Milan Futuro.
It was an unusual line-up, with a clear age gap between us and Hellas (five playing below the league's average age against a side with five 2005 born players). The Primavera weren't able to build on their strong win against Atalanta that closed February on a high. The table stayed the same with the Rossoneri in 5th place, and they must move on quickly ahead of some important upcoming matches. First of all, on Saturday 8 at 13:00 CET at PUMA House of Football, it's time for the derby, AC Milan v Inter. Come on boys!

MATCH REPORT
The Rossoneri began well with Scotti's pass into Liberali, but in the 6th minute the match turned. Frugnoli lost the ball, and he brought down Monticelli in the area. Agbonifo stepped up from twelve yards, but he put it wide. The Verona striker then made up for his error in the 14th minute, scoring after an effective break. The Rossoneri tried to respond, but they couldn't manage more than Bonomi and Scott's efforts. The match continued to be controlled by the home side, and they made the most of their possession by doubling their lead in the 43rd minute. Nwachukwu scored at the back post from a free kick.
We made two changes at the half with Perrucci and Skoczylas coming on after Vladimorov entered the field halfway through the first period. Most offensive efforts led to not too many clear chances, yet Hellas Verona scored with their first chance of the half. Pavanati headed home in the 57th minute from a corner. Bonomi attempted to get us back in it with a cross in the 69th minute, but to no avail. Pittarella made a fine save on Agbonifo in the 72nd minute, but then the Gialloblu found their fourth through Vermeșan. Just after, Bonomi had a chance, winning his duel, but just putting his shot past the post. The final whistle came after three minutes of added time.
POST-MATCH STATEMENT
This is Guidi's post match statement: "It was a match where they were better in everything. They were too strong and fast for us, and we felt the age difference. They deserved to win today. When we play this sort of team we have to do something more as they have a lot more experience, and they understood what to do to hurt us. Coming back from this will help us become a stronger side. We had several debutants today, and we finished with players born in 2007 and 2008. We have to learn from this match by preparing throughout the week with the errors we made in mind. Only this way can we grow and mature quickly".
