It's difficult to explain the Primavera's loss. Cruel, undeserved, painful. In terms of the display, it was much like the first game: AC Milan played better, created and attacked more, but without getting the win. At Leverkusen, unlike the draw with Liverpool, points were secured in this match, a disappoint afternoon. Bayer took all three points without having control, instead Head Coach Guidi's side created lots scoring one goal. It finished 1-3 at the Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion, on the second European match day, goals from Onyeka, Alajbegović, Bonomi which brought some hope and then Stepanov.
A goal conceded early, the second conceded practically on the second chance for the opposition, in general a brave effort but it lacked stability. A shame. We will build on the spirit, and the quality shown in Germany, even if the standings are not in our favour at the moment. The reaction in the UYL is scheduled for 22 October at PUMA House of Football against Club Brugge, while the next league game will be in Bologna on Saturday at 13:00 CEST, as the Primavera share top spot with Juventus and Roma.

MATCH REPORT
After breaking the ice, in the sixth minute Bayer Leverkusen struck: Onyeka made the most of a good routine from a short corner. The reaction was instant: in the tenth minute Bonomi put one wide, a weak header from Ibrahimović in the twelfth minute. AC Milan had the ball: in the 14th minute Stalmach puts Sia in only to see him place it over the bar after some good play, in the 32nd minute a left footed shot from Bonomi is close to the top corner. The final ball and finish was just missing, right where the German's had that extra bit of quality, the offensive actions continued and the hosts got a second: in the 39th minute Raterink's cross was met with a powerful shot from Alajbegović, in the area, to beat Pittarella. In the 45th minute, Magni tried but it was blocked by Schlich. Pittarella denied Hawighorst in stoppage time.
The Rossoneri came out attacking, but Sia wasted some big chances: in the 49th minute Bonomi sent him straight through for a one on one but he shot straight at the keeper, in the 53rd he received the ball from Bakoune but messed up the sliding shot. We kept pushing but to no avail: in the 55th and 57th Liberali and then Bonomi attempted against Schlich, in the 65th Magni shot from the middle. Finally, in the 71st minute a goal comes: an error from Raterink allowed Bonomi to go through and slot a precise shot past Schlich. Scotti brought the balI forward in the 82nd minute and shot on the turn, in stoppage time there was another effort. between, there was a flash from Ossola which forced Sala into a miraculous save against Stepanov who was on the line and destined to score. The opponent then hit us on a counter attack to make it 3-1, a cute chip from Stepanov against Pittarella.
