THE WEEKEND'S RESULTS: BOOSTS FOR PRIMAVERA SIDES

It was a reduced programme, yes, but a good weekend for the Rossoneri's Youth Sector. In honour of Tino Borneo - all teams played wearing a black armband - our youth sides recorded plenty of good results. Let's start with the two Primavera sides, both of whom strengthened their Scudetto bids. The Men moved into fifth place, a play-off spot, with a win from behind against Empoli. The Women scored a late equaliser against Juventus to keep the Bianconere three points behind and inch ever closer to qualifying for the Finals. Renna's U17 side, who have long been certain of a top-two finish, beat Venezia 3-1 away from home. Our U15s won 4-1 at home to Cittadella, which guarantees them to finish in the top two in their group and, therefore, qualify directly to the knock-out rounds.
