Blessed be the win. It means a lot since in the league, alongside the joy in Europe, it's been a month without victory. It means double since we beat a flying Lazio - coming off the back of winning 10 points in 4 games - who are fighting for the same thing, a spot in the playoffs. The Rossoneri Primavera came out on top at the PUMA House of Football with a massively important 2-0 win thanks to goals from Simmelhack and Zeroli at the heart of the second half. In general, the game after the break showed a great side, getting a hold of the game in an instant without leaving any space for the opposition. Truly a good performance, Abate can be happy.
After a stellar first half, Scotti's penalty error risked leaving us with regrets. No, AC Milan was fired up, raising the level and striking at the right moment. Praise for Simmelhack who also assisted the second goal, Zeroli's golden moment, and the performance of the entire group that originally started without Camarda or Sia. Matchday 26 allows the Diavolo to relaunch themselves, rising to 40 points on the board and closing the distance on those above them in the table. Now it's time for the international break, back in the league on 1 April at 11:00 CEST (Easter Monday) with a big game away to Juventus who are in a difficult spot.

MATCH REPORT
Lively opening, AC Milan is the better side. First chances: Sala tried a flying bicycle kick in the 10th minute, movement in the middle with several attempts at 15'. Another came in the 23rd minute, Bonomi's cross picked out Caldara in the area who headed it out just wide. Lazio pushed forwards with González: Raveyre saved the dangerous free kick in the 27th minute, another big chance wasted a minute later, alone in a good position. In the 40th minute, it was down to Scotti to hunt down the opener, winning a penalty after Magro put in a late challenge, but having it saved when he stepped up to the spot. Goalless at the break.
The second half got underway with the Rossoneri stepping on the gas. Simmelhack had a go and hit the far post in the 48th minute. Pressing forward, Magro and the backline manage to pull away somehow. The Biancocelesti tried once again to regain ground but apart from a harmless shot from distance by González, were pinned back, only to be overtaken by the hurricane of Simmelhack. Alexander scored the opener in the 67th minute, tucking away a low cross from Bonomi. And in the 70th minute, the Dane also gifted Zeroli with an assist to make it two, slotting it in the bottom corner. From an open battle to a closed case, there were many changes in the final minutes and one big chance for each side: Zeroli shot just high in the 81st minute; Ruggeri's header ended up over the crossbar in the 86th minute. Final whistle: 2-0.
