WEEKEND RESULTS: SUCCESSFUL OUTINGS FOR THE U17S

Two standout Rossoneri Youth Sector performances from the weekend came from the U17 sides, which consist mainly of players born in 2005 but also a few youngsters whose birth year was 2006. Indeed, both the male and female teams recorded two important and high-scoring victories. Thanks to their 6-1 win over Brescia, Coach Lantignotti’s team remain joint top of Group B alongside Inter and Atalanta with 19 points from eight games.

Coach De Martino’s girls, meanwhile, continued their superb form with a resounding success over Sedriano. They sit on maximum points after six matchdays. The U15 women’s team and U13 men’s side also enjoyed a good weekend, while the women’s Primavera were held to a draw in their top-of-the-table clash with Hellas Verona. After four wins, it’s the first time Coach Corti’s girls have dropped points this season.
