The second phase of the Women's Serie A 2023/24 is drawing closer. Corti's Rossonere, after finishing the regular season in sixth spot, will play the Relegation Round alongside, in order of the rankings, Como Women, Sampdoria, Napoli, and Pomigliano. The Women's FIGC has announced the complete fixture list, with an away game against Pomigliano kicking things off after an initial rest week. The second half of the Relegation Round will follow the same fixtures, but inverting the home and away sides, with AC Milan v Sampdoria closing things out.
THE RULES
The five teams will carry over their points from the first phase, as well as the goal difference and direct clashes. In the event of a tie between two or more teams at the end of the two phases, points obtained and goal difference in the four head-to-head matches, two from the first phase and two from the second, will count. The bottom teams at the end of the Relegation Round will be automatically relegated to Serie B, whilst the fourth-placed side will play against the second-placed side in the second division for a spot in the top flight.
