WOMEN, AC MILAN v POMIGLIANO: MATCH PREVIEW

The Rossonere on the hunt for three points at the PUMA House of Football: the Match Preview

Ganz's Rossonere will be back at home in search of three points and to shake up their start to the season. After the goalless draw away to Como, matchday 5 of the Women's Serie A will see AC Milan face Pomigliano, a chance to get back to winning ways. Discover the Match Preview ahead of the game on Sunday 22 October at 12:30 CEST.

PUMA HOUSE OF FOOTBALL
The Rossonere will face the meeting at the PUMA House of Football with the desire to boost their campaign, starting with the game against Pomigliano. Unable to score in Seregno, Ganz's AC Milan will want to build on the courage and determination shown against Como. The previous matches between the sides suggest a favourable result, with 3 wins in 4 games in Serie A. There are many options for Ganz in the 4-3-3 formation, headed up by captain Bergamaschi, who scored a brace in the 6-2 home fixture on 24 April 2022.

This is the squad list for AC Milan v Pomigliano: Copetti, Giuliani, van Eijk; Árnadóttir, Bergamaschi, Fusetti, Guagni, Piga, Soffia, Swaby; Adami, Cernoia, Grimshaw, Mascarello, Vigilucci; Asllani, Dompig, Jonušaitė, Laurent, Marinelli, Stašková.

Ganz spoke on the eve of the match: "It is an important game and, like always, we need courage, character, personality, and togetherness to give a good performance”.

POMIGLIANO
Contreras's side is yet to find a win this season. They can only count 1 point so far thanks to a 1-1 draw away to Sassuolo, whilst they suffered league defeats to Juventus, Roma and Fiorentina, and a Coppa Italia defeat to Sampdoria. Pomigliano, however, haven’t been beaten in three consecutive away games in Serie A thanks to two draws and a win, and they will be hoping to keep up the positive streak at the PUMA House of Football. To do so, Pomigliano must rely on the creative attack of Dalila Ippólito and Ana Martínez, two of the top players for successful runs this season, as well as two regular features of Contreras's 4-4-2.
