AC Milan got back underway after the international break in the best way possible. Against Pink Sport, the Rossonere recorded a convincing 6-1 win over their opponents in a game that was all but wrapped up in the first half. They scored four goals in half an hour and dominated all over the pitch. Bergamaschi opened the scoring with her first goal of the season before Giacinti doubled AC Milan's lead and Dowie bagged the third of the day. Then came the Yui Hasegawa show in her first start for the Club and on her Serie A debut: a perfect free-kick on the half-hour mark to make it 4-0 and a volley to make it five in the 60th minute. The Japanese showed flashes of pure brilliance as she, after her minutes against Sassuolo in the Coppa, seems to have already adapted to life at the Club. The Rossonere's sixth of the game was scored by Giacinti as the match drew to a close. Coach Ganz, in light of the upcoming clash with Juventus, made plenty of changes, resting Vero, Tuccerfi Cimini and Simic. But the team still performed brilliantly; they were switched on from the off, attacked with good tempo and were aggressive all over the pitch. It certainly was the perfect game ahead of the big match against the Bianconere next Sunday.

The Rossonere started strongly and looked to dictate the tempo of the game. After the first few attempts, from Bergamaschi and Hasagawa, it was Valentina herself, who opened the scoring in the sixth minute. It was a brilliant move from the Rossonere that freed the space for Bergamaschi to shoot and make it 1-0. All the action was taking place in the Pink Sport half; in the 21st minute, Giacinti received the ball in the box from Grimshaw, took it down on her chest and beat Mylloyoya with a wicked shot on the turn, 2-0. The Rossonere did not stop and again the Scot was at the heart of the action as she set up Dowie to make it 3-0 (23'). Hasagawa was mesmerising in midfield and made her first AC Milan start (and full Serie A debut) one to remember with a fantastic free-kick: 4-0. The last half hour of the first half was largely uneventful, with the Rossonere in full control.
Goal number five came 15 minutes into the second half and the Japanese was on the scoresheet again: substitute Kuliš put the ball into the middle for Hasagawa to turn home on the volley, 5-0. The hosts did manage to get one back in the 75th minute; Helmvall turned home the corner, 5-1. There was still time for one more goal, however, and it was Valentina Giacinti again to score. Rask's through ball was hammered home at the near post by Valentina. Final score: 6-1 to AC Milan.
