REFILOE JANE JOINS, AC MILAN V NAPOLI TOMORROW

AC Milan Women's opening league fixture is fast approaching: at 12:30 CEST on Sunday 15 September, the Rossonere's campaign will kick off away to Roma at the Stadio Tre Fontane. Ahead of this match, Maurizio Ganz's side will play Napoli tomorrow afternoon in Sedriano (h 18.00 CEST) in what will be the final friendly of a long and intense pre-season for the girls. It all began with their training camp in Ponte di Legno from 28 to 3 August, with Giacinti and her teammates also being involved in a number of friendlies:

• 10 August, AC Milan 1-0 Lugano

• 16 August, WomensCup, AC Milan 0-6 Paris Saint Germain

• 18 August, WomensCup, AC Milan 3-2 Zurich 

• 24 August, AC Milan 2-0 Cittadella

• 31 August, AC Milan 6-1 Como

From today, meanwhile, Maurizio Ganz will have Jane Refiloe at his disposal, a South African midfielder who has recently touched down in Milan and who will be able to lend the team a hand immediately ahead of the upcoming fixtures. Born in Johannesburg on 4 August 1992, she's won 100 caps and scored twelve goals for her country. Now, she's ready to wear the number 15 shirt and make her very own contribution to the Rossonere cause.
