The Rossoneri today got some minutes in the legs as they hosted Bergamo-based outfit Lemine Almenno for a joint training session at Milanello, consisting of three 20-minute periods. The Rossoneri scored three goals, all in the first period: Messias first, then Rebić and Gabbia with the third. Pioli's side eased off a little but still managed to carve out the odd chance before, late on, the boss sent on various youngsters from the Primavera. The plan for tomorrow is to train in the morning.

The Rossoneri scored all three of their goals in the first period: Messias opened the scoring following a long ball forward from Adli; Rebić then added a second with a powerful driven effort, before Gabbia added a third, prodding it home from inside the box. The Rossoneri made a raft of changes to give minutes to all of the players involved and, in the second period, AC Milan had a few chances to score a fourth through Brahim Díaz, Messias and Daniel Maldini, the latter of whom twice came close. Chaka Traorè had a goal disallowed for offside in the third and final period, while Brescianini forced the Almenno goalkeeper into a save with a shot from range.
