AC Milan is set to embark on the 2024 Pre-Season Tour in the United States, marking a new chapter in the Club's global development under the guidance of RedBird Capital Partners, controlling shareholder of AC Milan. Coach Fonseca's squad will compete against elite European teams in the DIRECTV Soccer Champions Tour 2024. The Rossoneri will play Manchester City on 27 July at Yankee Stadium in New York, then face Real Madrid on 31 July at Soldier Field in Chicago. The tour will wrap up with a match against FC Barcelona on 6 August at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, a fitting duel as both clubs celebrate their 125th Anniversary in the upcoming season.
This marks the second consecutive summer that AC Milan has chosen North America for its Pre-Season Tour, following a successful stint in California and Nevada last year. The new US tour highlights the Club's robust connection with the American market. The Pre-Season Tour will significantly enhance AC Milan's presence in a region with a growing interest in football. The Tour will also provide AC Milan the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with the New York Yankees, partner of the Rossoneri since 2022.
