JUVENTUS v AC MILAN: THE NUMBERS FROM THE GAME

Thanks to victory in Turin, AC Milan have secured fourth spot, with third still in the pipeline, as Champions League qualification for next season was officially confirmed. It was an important evening that also produced some revealing numbers. Here's what came out of matchday 37 in Serie A:

1- AC Milan have done the double over Juventus in Serie A for the third time in the last 50 years, following the 1990/91 and 2009/10 seasons.

2- AC Milan have kept a clean sheet in at least three consecutive matches against Juventus in Serie A for the second time in their history, after the period between 1988 and 1989 (four on that occasion).

3- Giroud has scored twelve goals in a single season in Europe's top-five leagues for the first time since the 2016/17 campaign (also twelve with Arsenal). Olivier has scored five headers in Serie A in 2023; no player has done better over this period in Europe's top-five leagues (five also for Victor Osimhen and Valentín Castellanos).

4- Calabria has provided four assists in this league campaign, a record for him in a single Serie A season. And four of Davide's last six assists in the league have ended with Giroud scoring.
