INTER V AC MILAN: ALL OF THE NUMBERS

The stats from the Derby at San Siro

A victory and we are clear at the top of the league: a fairytale Derby, a Rossoneri Derby. In the big match of matchday 4 in Serie A, AC Milan flew highest at San Siro to go top of the league after a tough game. This magical evening is underpinned by the numbers - both for the team and individuals - from the 2-1 win:

1- AC Milan have won their first four games in a Serie A season for the first time since 1995/96, with Fabio Capello in charge.

2- This AC Milan's 1400th win in Serie A since it has been played in a round-robin format. The Rossoneri are the third side to reach this landmark after Juventus and Inter.

3- AC Milan had not won a Milan Derby since January 2016 - 3-0 with Siniša Mihajlović as head coach.

4- AC Milan have scored in 24 consecutive Serie A games for the first time since 1973 (29).

5- This is only the second time that AC Milan have conceded their first goal in a Serie A season to Inter; the only other time was back in 1935 (with Meazza).

6- Zlatan Ibrahimović has scored the most Serie A braces at over 38 years of age (four) - equalling Silvio Piola.

7- Zlatan Ibrahimović has scored eight goals in the Derby di Milano (six with AC Milan and two with Inter), only three players have scored more: Meazza (twelve), Nordahl and Nyers (eleven).
