A second consecutive win in Serie A, the first away from home. After the 2-0 win over Bologna at San Siro, the Diavolo also won 2-0 against Crotone. Pioli's men have taken maximum points from their first two games. Let's take a look at all of the stats pertaining to the 2-0 win over Crotone at the Stadio Enzo Scida:
1- AC Milan are unbeaten in their last 17 games in all competitions (13W, 4D) for the first time since March 1996, when Fabio Capello was at the helm (27 in that case). The Rossoneri have also won six games in a row in all competitions for the first time since August 2017.
2- AC Milan have won both of their first two games in a Serie A season without conceding a single goal for the first time since 2002/03, when Carlo Ancelotti was head coach.
3- AC Milan have scored in 22 consecutive league matches for the first time since March 2009. The Rossoneri have also had three different Serie A goalscorers born since 1999 in this calendar year, no other team has had more - Rafael Leão, Alexis Saelemaekers and Brahim Díaz.
4- Franck Kessie has converted eleven of his twelve penalties in Serie A, including his last six. Since his arrival at AC Milan, the Ivorian has scored nine goals from the spot, the only midfielders to have scored more are Pulgar and Veretout (both twelve).
5- Kessie also scored the opener from the penalty spot in AC Milan's last meeting with Crotone at the Stadio Enzo Scida (August 2017).
6- Brahim Díaz scored his second career goal in Europe's Top-5 leagues; the first was in May 2019 for Real Madrid against Real Sociedad. Díaz is also the eighth Spaniard to score for AC Milan in Serie A.
7- Sandro Tonali is the first player born in the 2000's to start a Serie A game for AC Milan.
8- AC Milan's starting line-up had an average age of 23 years and 266 days, the last side to field a younger XI was also AC Milan in November 2019 against Lazio (23 years and 193 days).
