AC Milan’s 2019/20 league campaign finished with a win this evening. Thanks to Klavan’s own goal and goalscoring finishes from Ibra and Casti, the Rossoneri beat Cagliari 3-0 to move up to 66 points in the league. Despite there being nothing riding on the game, it was important for the team to carry on their excellent post-lockdown form. Here are seven statistics to come out of tonight’s fixture against the team from Sardinia.

- AC Milan have finished the season unbeaten in twelve games. The last time they achieved this feat in a single league campaign was in 1991/92.
- The Rossoneri are the team that have scored the most goals (35) in the Top Five European leagues since the restart.
- Only Real Madrid (31) have collected more points than AC Milan (30) in the Top Five European leagues since the restart.
- AC Milan have scored for at least 20 consecutive matches in a single league campaign for the first time since the 2008/09 season (22 back then).
- This is only the fifth season in AC Milan’s history where the Rossoneri have found the net in at least 20 successive Serie A matches (following on from 1948/49, 1991/92, 2003/04 and 2008/09).
- AC Milan have established a new record for the number of consecutive home victories against a single opposition side in Serie A: 15, against Cagliari.
