Despite the draw, AC Milan showed defensive solidity but struggled to capitalise on their chances.

The match was marked by an intense midfield battle, with both teams trying to impose their style of play. AC Milan aimed to exploit the creativity of Reijnders and the speed of Chukwueze, but faced a well-organised Roma defence. In the second half, the introduction of Bennacer provided more balance in midfield, but it wasn't enough to secure the winning goal.
