The Rossoneri deservedly claimed three massive points following a mature and solid performance. It ended 3-1 against Frosinone at San Siro thanks to a first goal from the Club for Luka Jović as well as finishes from Christian Pulisic, who was sensational down the left, and Fikayo Tomori. The hosts conceded very little to an attacking outfit and also made the most of their chances. The first half of Serie A matchday 14 was largely devoid of life until quick chances at either end shifted the balance of the game. Maignan denied Cuni before AC Milan's Serbian striker opened the scoring; Pulisic and Tomori put the game beyond doubt, followed by a consolation for Frosinone through Brescianini.
From the new-look defence with Theo Hernández at centre-back and Florenzi at left-back to the return of Ismaël Bennacer, there were plenty of positives for Stefano Pioli's side in a tricky game. Mike Maignan was brilliant between the sticks again and even bagged an assist for the Rossoneri's test. The hosts passed the test in front of the home crowd and now have 29 points in the table. We now have a week to recover our energy for a tough trip to take on Atalanta. Keep it up, boys!

MATCH REPORT
The game started off at a slow tempo, with both sides sizing each other up as they jostled for possession of the ball. The Rossoneri eventually took control as the half wore on and made Turati work several times, first through Florenzi's effort from the edge of the box (20') and then from Chukwueze, who picked up the ball and fired one towards goal with his left that flicked off a defender behind for a corner on 23 minutes. Frosinone tried to catch the home side cold through attempts from Ibrahimović (27') and Oyono (31') from distance, but Maignan watched them both fly past the post. The game's turning point came just shy of the break: in the 42nd minute, Cuni stole the ball from Tomori and bore down on goal, but Maignan stood tall and blocked the striker's effort; a minute later and AC Milan took the lead. The visiting defence failed to clear Chukwueze's cross and Jović volleyed it home with his left to open his Rossoneri account and unlock the game: 1-0 at half-time.
The Rossoneri stepped on the accelerator pedal from the restart and deservedly doubled their lead after 50 minutes. From Maignan's long ball, Pulisic brought the pass down perfectly into his forward stride and knocked it past Turati delicately to make it 2-0. Frosinone felt the brunt of the blow and struggled to react, looking dangerous only from long-distance attempts. The Rossoneri put their foot down and looked for the final killer punch. In the 74th minute, a well-worked set-piece routine freed Hernández, whose cross to the back post saw Jović head across the face of goal for Tomori to nod home his team's third goal from just a few yards out. A Brescianini free-kick on 82 minutes surprised the home side and the away side tried to reduce the deficit even further, but it proved to be just a consolation. AC Milan remained compact and conceded nothing to the Gialloazzurri attack. It ended 3-1 to us at San Siro.
