SERIE A 2022/23: MATCHES EITHER SIDE OF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FIXTURES

Serie A is a ten-month marathon of 38 matchdays, with the first half of the season also coinciding with plenty of European action. At least six Champions League matches, from September to November, await AC Milan in the group stage. The Rossoneri, the reigning Champions of Italy, are in pot 1 for the draw, which takes place on 25 August.

The Serie A matches that fall on either side of Champions League fixtures are often tricky. Winning gives you a lift for European competitions, but midweek matches can often lead to fatigue for the following domestic fixture.
