January has been a bittersweet month for Stefano Pioli's Rossoneri, who are now awaiting new fixtures to test their ambitions. February starts with a bang: the second Derby of the season against Inter, immediately after the international break, and the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio at San Siro. There are also three league fixtures not to be overlooked, against teams in the bottom half of the table: opportunities to add points ahead of the home straight in the spring.

There are also some tough tests ahead for Maurizio Ganz's Rossonere, who have had an excellent start to 2022 with the hard-fought Supercoppa Final and the victories in Serie A and Women's Coppa Italia. The schedule for this month is less packed but even more significant: in the Cup the second league match of the season against Sampdoria at the Vismara, in the championship the fixtures are against Lazio and most importantly Sassuolo, in one of the big clashes in the race to qualify for next year's Champions League.

PRIMAVERA
After last weekend's match against Empoli, Federico Giunti's Primavera team are back at full strength in February. The first match is one of the most eagerly awaited, the Derby against Inter, in a month that will also include the match against league leaders Roma and many other fixtures that could give momentum to the renewed ambitions of the Rossoneri, who thanks to a string of victories between November and December have returned to the mid-table of a very even championship.
