PIOLI: "TEAMWORK TO FINISH THE JOB"

The Rossoneri return their focus to the Europa League. After the impressive victory in the first leg at the San Siro, the return leg is fast approaching: Stade Rennais v AC Milan will take place at Roazhon Park. Mister Pioli and Alessandro Florenzi have addressed all the topics leading up to the match - scheduled for Thursday 22 February at 18:45 CET - on the eve of the match, here are their words from the press conference.

STEFANO PIOLI

POST-MONZA
"As always, we analysed the game the day after, then we focused on Europe. I told the team that we took a deserved advantage, but we'll have to work together from the first minute to finish the job and secure qualification against a good team like Stade Rennais".

ROSSONERI ROTATIONS
"I don't like the term turnover, I would speak of managing a group that works, facing five games in fifteen days. The choices against Monza were dictated by data and player conditions. It will be the same against Stade Rennais and, once the game is over, in the league against Atalanta".

INDIVIDUAL CONDITIONS
"The lads are in good shape, compared to Sunday we had an extra day of rest. They are all in a condition to play".

PLAYING RENNES
"We expect a different team compared to the team we saw at the San Siro, we know they will try to make an important start, and we are prepared for it".

ALESSANDRO FLORENZI

AFTER THE LEAGUE MATCH
"We always try to turn the page because each game is a story of its own. Win, draw or lose. We are aware of the mistakes we made, but we are calm and focused on giving our best for this match".

THE MATCH AT ROAZHON PARK
"We know what we want and what we have to do on the field. Apart from Monza, we have had excellent results, and we are on the right path to have a good run also in Europe. We will play an important game, the tie is not decided just yet".

FLORENZI'S SEASON
"I know my strengths and weaknesses, I have always tried to improve. The continuity of this season comes from the daily work, which has helped me find my best condition. I have to continue like this first for AC Milan, then if the call from Italy were to come, I would be happy".

HIS EUROPA LEAGUE HISTORY
"The nicest anecdote could be to write history this year. The desire and ambition is to achieve it all with AC Milan".
