MASSARA: "WE'LL INVEST IN THE MIDFIELD"

Alongside Ivan Gazidis and Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara was also present at the Season Kick-Off Q&A. Here's what the Club's Sporting Director had to say:

LEÃO
"We're one of the youngest teams in Serie A and the growth of our boys is very important to us. Leão is a real gem of a talent, who has mature a lot after an initial period of adjustment. We're happy with what he's done, but we're sure he can grow even more."

MIDFIELD
"Kessie and Bennacer have done well, Pioli also deserves credit for his implementation of the double pivot. We'll take some action in midfield. Next season will be a long one so we'll need reinforcements. We're taking a look at a few options at the moment."

YOUTH
"AC Milan's youth sector is producing many talented players. It'll be important to find the right path for each of them. Pobega did well at Pordenone, we want to see what he can give us. Bresciani will likely go on loan to Serie B, while Maldini and Colombo will remain with us."

CALABRIA
"He came to the first team from our youth sector. He's done well in recent years, so he's not for sale."

AURIER
"Lots of names get linked with AC Milan. Aurier is a great player, but at the moment, we're not forced into thinking about buying him. He's not our focus."

REBIĆ
"I can confirm our desire to make him a permanent player. We're very happy with his performances, especially in the second half of the season, which was extraordinary."
