Milan Futuro's journey in Serie C continues slowly. The 1-1 draw in Campobasso is a good result considering the opponent (in playoff contention), the stadium, and especially the performance, although, as with some previous matches, there might be a bitter taste given how close we were to getting the win. It was an entertaining match, decided in the first half with the home team's goal (Di Nardo) and the equalizer from Milan, thanks to Stalmach's first professional goal, following his teammate Sia's goal in the Coppa Italia. The draw is a fair reflection of the match, although Bonera's team, despite facing some difficult moments before half-time, created a couple of great chances in the second half.
The lack of offensive sharpness in the final stages was a slight negative, on what was an otherwise positive evening, in several ways. The team didn't show any fear, played, and tried their best in every situation, enduring and suffering as expected. Moving forward, one point at a time, it’s obviously not easy to move far from the lower end of the table, but the team is still level with Sestri Levante on 13 points, and after the rescheduled 15th matchday game in Molise, they are 4 points off of the safety zone. It's a steep, difficult road, but they have the means to climb back up. The next league match will be on Sunday 8 December, 12:30, at the Chinetti stadium in Solbiate Arno, against Gubbio.

MATCH REPORT
Heated atmosphere with a fast start. In the 5th minute, Sia tried with a volley, weak and wide. With their first chance, Campobasso took the lead: in the 7th minute, Raveyre mishit a clearance, Pierno recovered the ball, moved forward and crossed, Minotti fails to intercept and Di Nardo - free and from close range, put the ball in the back of the net. An immediate reaction to the goal came in the 12th minute with a wicked free-kick from Stalmach, as well as a strong run in the 16th minute from Jiménez and then in the 19th minute with a testing left-footed shot from Sandri. With 30 minutes on the clock, Turco - played in by Bartesaghi - anticipated the goalkeeper but sent it over the bar. A few seconds later, in the 31st minute, the deserved equaliser came: Traoré's cross was left by Guadagno for Stalmach, who tapped it in. In the 35th minute, Mister Bonera was sent off for protests. Just before the break, the Molise side missed a big chance to doubled their lead: Di Nardo faced Raveyre but couldn't get his shot right.
The home side started the second half in attack: Baldassin provided a dangerous opportunity in the 47th minute, in the 49th minute, Di Nardo missed another opportunity, but failed to find the target as Raveyre was quite far off his line. A big double chance for the Rossoneri: in the 53rd minute Traorè collected a loose ball after a save from the goalkeeper, but hit the crossbar; in the 55th minute Jiménez ran and cut inside but curled his left-footed shot just wide of the top corner. A good moment, the match was alive. After an hour of play, Stalmach tried from distance, but his shot was off-target. The substitutions began, but fatigue started to kick in and the general tempo of the game began to slow down. The only player who remained active was Forte R.: first, mishitting his shot and then in the 81st minute, he fired a powerful shot forcing Raveyre into a save. In the 84th minute our goalkeeper did well to clear a goalmouth scramble. In the 87th minute, Longo took a shot, which was deflected and created a bit of panic. The final moments were intense, but without any significant moments. Full-time.
