TORRES v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW

Coach Bonera's side on the road: the lowdown

The first encounter between Torres and Milan Futuro. After tomorrow's match, which will kick off at 20:45 CEST at the Stadio Vanni Sanna, the return fixture in Serie C will be played in January, but the two sides will also meet in the Coppa Italia round of 16 in November. The Rossoneri and Rossoblù have had differing starts to the season but will take to the pitch with the same desire to win. Here is our Match Preview as the clash draws nearer.

LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO
The Rossoneri are looking to find their feet after a difficult start. It was never going to be an easy ride, but now the difficulties must be overcome and every match represents an opportunity. Coach Bonera's lads need to build on the positives seen in Busto Arsizio last weekend, when Ascoli deservedly won but had to dig in in spells to do so. Indeed, before the visitors doubled their advantage and during the closing stages, Milan Futuro wasted some big chances to score. Organisation, focus and ruthlessness are all needed if the Diavolo want to claim their first league victory. And the team will also have to manage their energy levels well, fully aware they'll be returning to action away from home next Monday.

LATEST FROM TORRES
Torres find themselves in the upper echelons of the table, three points off the top. So far, they've won twice and drawn once: they comfortably beat Vis Pesaro 3-0 at home in their opener and, after rescuing a very late point away to Pescara (2-2), recorded a 1-0 victory away to Campobasso last time out. At the moment, the Sardinians, who have been lining up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, have the second best defensive record in the league. They are coached by Alfonso Greco, who is in his fourth season in the Torres dugout. In the summer, the likes of Brentan, Coccolo and Mercadante - all players who know the division well - arrived, and the Rossoneri will have to keep a close eye on striker and captain Scotto and attacking midfielder Masala, both of whom have already scored twice. With all his experience, Fischnaller also poses a threat.
