SUZANNE BAKKER NEW COACH OF THE WOMEN'S FIRST TEAM

The Dutch Coach signs a two-year deal with the Club

AC Milan is proud to announce that Suzanne Bakker will take charge of the Women's First Team.

Born in Henbroek (the Netherlands) on 9 July 1986, she developed in Apollo 68 and Reiger Boys youth system before being signed by FC Utrecht to compete in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the top flight of Dutch women's football, in 2007. She continued her playing career at ASV Wartburgia until 2014 when she decided to take on a coaching role at the same club.

In the 2017/18 season, she joined the coaching staff at Excelsior/Barendrecht before moving to the Ajax Vrouwen Talent Team the following year. In the summer of 2022, she took over the dugout of Ajax's Women's First Team, where she won the Vrouwen Eredivisie title in her first season. Last season, she led the team to second place domestically while achieving important Women's Champions League group-stage wins over Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

The Dutch Coach joins AC Milan's Women's First Team on a two-year contract. The Club would like to wish a warm welcome to Suzanne and her staff.
