EMMA KOIVISTO JOINS AC MILAN

AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Emma Koivisto, effective from 1 July 2024.

The Finnish wing-back, born in Helsinki in 1994, started her career with FC Honka before moving to Gothenburg for the next three seasons. After her stint in neighbouring Sweden, she headed to England, signing first with Brighton & Hove Albion and then with Liverpool in 2022.

A graduate of Florida State University in the USA, Emma Koivisto is also a key player for the Finland national team, having competed in the 2022 European Championship.

Emma will wear the number 2 shirt and has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2027.
