OFFICIAL STATEMENT: RIMANTĖ JONUŠAITĖ

During the past few weeks, Rimantė Jonušaitė suffered an injury to her left knee. The Lithuanian forward underwent surgery yesterday, 31 October, to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament.

The operation, performed by Dr. Pozzoni and his team, at the Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute, was a complete success.

Rimantė, already discharged, will start rehabilitation in the coming days. The whole team and staff look forward to welcoming Rimantė back to the squad as soon as possible.
