GAZIDIS APPOINTED AS AN ECA REPRESENTATIVE TO THE UEFA'S PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL STRATEGY COUNCIL

The AC Milan CEO was nominated as a representative of the European Clubs' Association (ECA), becoming a member of the Exective Board for the organism that represents football clubs on a European level

Ivan Gazidis, CEO AC Milan, has been appointed to the UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council, a body which brings together several key stakeholder groups of European football: UEFA, Clubs, Professional Leagues and Players' Associations. Gazidis has been appointed as a European Club Association (ECA) representative and will also take up a seat as a full member of the Executive Board of ECA itself, the body representing the interests of professional football clubs at a European level.
The AC Milan CEO, who will assume the role until the end of the current cycle (2023), is one of 4 ECA representatives in the PFSC, the others being Pedro Lopez Jiménez (Real Madrid CF), Edwin van der Sar (AFC Ajax) and Peter Lawwell (Celtic FC). Ivan Gazidis also sits on the FIFA Stakeholders Committee and chairs the ECA Competitions Working Group.
