Saturday October 17th at 6 pm is a date marked in red on all Rossoneri fans’ calendars. Matchday four of the 2020/21 Serie A season features the 226th Derby della Madonnina (the 173rd played in Serie A history), which pits AC Milan against FC Internazionale at the San Siro. In such difficult times for Milan, Italy and the whole world, this derby won’t be the same with the absence of fans creating a different atmosphere. As a result AC Milan is offering its fans an action-packed way experiencing the countdown to the match.
On Friday October 16th, the Club’s social media channels will broadcast 'Derby Time' a series of exclusive programming dedicated to the Rossoneri.
'Derby Time' will start at 2 pm on Friday with the live broadcast of coach Pioli’s pre-match press conference on the AC Milan official App. From 4.30 pm, AC Milan will offer a trip down memory lane, with highlights from past Derbies and interviews with players on Facebook and YouTube to re-live some classic Derby matches.
At 5.30 pm, Milan TV will air four full matches commentated on by journalist Mauro Suma. These include the memorable 6-0 victory in May 2001, the 3-2 comeback in February 2004, the second leg of the Euro-derby of 2005 and finally the 2011 Italian Super Cup Final with goals scored by Ibra and Boateng.
The countdown has begun, Friday is 'Derby Time'!
