The second international break of the season will see several AC Milan players in action: 13 Rossoneri will be involved for their respective senior, Under 21 and Under 20 national teams. An important window, and not just for the World Cup Qualifiers for Qatar 2022 and for the Under 21 European Championship in 2023: the Finals of the UEFA Nations League 2021 stand out, which will be played in Italy between San Siro and the Allianz Stadium in Turin. The latter venue, on Thursday 7, will be the setting for a Rossoneri derby, as Alexis Saelemaekers’ Belgium clash with Mike Maignan and Theo Hernández’s France for a place in the final in Milan on Sunday, against the winner of Italy v Spain, a fixture that may see the involvement of our very own Calabria. As for the World Cup qualifying fixtures, Fikayo Tomori’s return to the England squad and Rafael Leão's first call-up to the senior Portugal team are particularly notable. It's a set of international matches that could see the first sides secure their spots at next year's tournament.
