BENNACER PLAYS 61 MINUTES IN ALGERIA WIN

Yesterday evening, Ismaël Bennacer played for Algeria for the first time since 16 November 2020. After watching Algeria v Zambia from the stands a few days ago, Isma returned to his midfield role. Against Botswana, he remained on the pitch until the 61st minute, when he was replaced by Belaili with the score at 2-0. Algeria, who secured their spot at the next Africa Cup of Nations a while back, went on to run out 5-0 winners. Bennacer can now head back to Milanello with a few more minutes under his belt ahead of the final push this season.
