INTERNATIONAL BREAK: THE ROSSONERI IN ACTION

There are 14 players who have been called up to their respective national teams

Several Rossoneri engaged on several fronts. It’s the return of the national teams as the first international break of 2021 arrives. 14 of our players will join up with their respective teams during the break. The final group stage for the U21 Euro 2021 tournament begins, which will decide the "magnificent eight" that will compete for the continental title in the summer.

Sandro Tonali, Matteo Gabbia, Brahim Díaz, Pierre Kalulu (on his first U21 call-up) and Diogo Dalot will all take to the field during this group stage. At the same time, qualifying for the Qatar 2022 World Cup begins for the senior national teams, with many Rossoneri in action. Standing out among them is the return of Zlatan Ibrahimović, called up almost five years after his last appearance in a Sweden jersey (22 June 2016, Euro 2016). Franck Kessie and Ismaël Bennacer will play the last two qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations 2022.
