The look is curious, and the attitude is that of a boy who wants to learn quickly, both on and off the pitch. Noah Raveyre's AC Milan adventure officially began in July 2023, arriving under the radar from French side Saint-Étienne, but already he doesn't hesitate to call the Rossoneri group that welcomed him in recent months "family". He lives at boarding school, is constantly studying Italian and already speaks it fluently, a clear sign of his desire to quickly integrate into the Milanello environment.
He is well over six feet tall, a goalkeeper by trade and has earned his place in the Primavera side game after game, week after week, after an initial understudy period behind Bartoccioni. A period that served him - by his own admission - to integrate into the demands of Italian football and to get used to a new working method. The 2005-born player is now one of the positive notes and, at the same time, certainties of this team, because he is growing exponentially in all aspects of the game: between the sticks, coming out, with his feet and in organising the defence.
In fact, what stands out is his calmness and, at the same time, his personality that emerges in calling his teammates on the pitch when indicating dangers and positions to take up. That calmness is an aspect that he confesses to having worked on, and which derives from his individual and the team's work. In the last few matches, it was his saves in the Youth League penalty shootout that received the headlines, in the round of 16 against Braga and the quarter-finals against Real Madrid. The range of saves shown in recent months, however, is vast, from pure reflex to perfect positional play.
We spoke with Noah exclusively at Milanello, and his interview touched on several interesting topics, not least the awareness of being part of a strong group ready to achieve great things between now and the end of the season. His life has changed a lot in recent times, but Noah, 19 in June, has shown that he has the maturity and human strength to manage it all. "I arrived without knowing Italian, it was difficult at the beginning, but I have worked hard and learned in recent months. We still have ten games left, this team is a family, and we need to work as one: game after game, we can do something great because we have so much quality."
