A great success for the AC Milan Business Forum, the B2B digital event dedicated to the world of business like nothing before from a football club. Yesterday, on Monday 14 July, over 300 managers, directors and business owners had the chance to meet online and interact to open up new business opportunities. As a result of the innovative digital platform, roughly 600 virtual speed meetings were organised amongst the participants, each with the underlying goal of learning about each other’s companies.
AC Milan’s CEO Ivan Gazidis opened the meeting, and after a quick thank you, he said: “We’ve had some difficult times in light of the pandemic and lockdown, but we’re now stronger, thanks to our passion, awareness and self-sacrifice. We’re working hard to make changes to the Club’s business model, moving our focus towards economic sustainability. AC Milan is striving for a virtuous business model where revenue earned from our stadium, sponsorship deals and other commercial areas will be reinvested in improving the performance of the sporting area. Our goal is to take AC Milan back to the highest levels of European football.”
The 173 businesses present were each able to showcase the services they provide, making their products known to other companies and creating a virtuous circle which we hope will be able to benefit each of their businesses. Yesterday’s event was attended by both businesses who invest in the Club today (sponsors and hospitality clients) and new companies who wanted to test out the potential of the Rossoneri universe for the very first time.
AC Milan is doing more and more to work towards a new identity as a transversal entity by collaborating with companies as a business facilitator through events such as the Business Forum.
