LATEST FROM MILANELLO
Six matches, 12 points and no defeats: AC Milan has made a positive start to the league season and heads into this fixture following a 1-1 draw against Sassuolo, with Rabiot scoring his third goal of the campaign. Rúben Amorim’s team is now preparing to return to European action in search of its first points after the opening loss to Benfica. The trip to Austria will be the Rossoneri’s first away game in the competition and comes amid a busy run of fixtures, meaning several changes could be made to the side that started in Reggio Emilia. Gabbia, Saelemaekers and Pietro Terracciano will be unavailable.

Coach Amorim in the pre-match press conference: "Salzburg is a team that's used to winning, and it shows. It will be a difficult match. But when I look at our team, I see that we're improving and creating more and more chances. Tomorrow, we'll field players who have already had game time this season, but we'll also rotate the squad".

The Austrian side sits second in the Austrian Football Bundesliga with 18 points and enters the match following a scoreless draw in Graz. Salzburg began its European campaign in the qualifying rounds, overcoming Pafos and Mjällby before earning a 1-0 victory over Levski Sofia in its League Phase opener. Several new faces arrived during the summer transfer window, including Boma from Estoril, Tohumcu, and Mazurek, a Polish attacking midfielder born in 2007 who joined from Jagiellonia Białystok.

Danny Röhl, Salzburg Head Coach: "We can't wait to play this match at our stadium. AC Milan is a great side in European football. It’ll be a game in which we'll have to adopt a different role compared to what we usually do in the Bundesliga."
