AC MILAN TOGETHER WITH QLASH AND KONAMI AT MILAN GAMES WEEK & CARTOOMICS 2022

The Club gets involved in the most important gaming and esports event in Italy

Since yesterday, AC Milan has been involved in in Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2022, the most important gaming and esports event in Italy, with the Club featuring on the QLASH stand with plenty of firsts to excite fans.

One of the most long-awaited developments was the presentation of the Milan QLASH pro player team, which will consist of Carmine "Naples17x" Liuzzi, the eFootball World Champion on Xbox, Salvatore "SASINHO_DIGIAC" Di Giacomo and Luigi "Kirito_Yuuki" Loffredo.

On the KONAMI (the Club’s Training Wear Partner and Principal Partner) stage, the Milan QLASH team also presented the new esport Collection. It is special set that is made up of a shirt and matching hoodie, and it’ll be worn by the pro players throughout the season.

Nelson Dida also got involved on Saturday. In a surprise twist for Rossoneri fans, the AC Milan legend spoke live at the event, which was presented by San Siro speaker Germano Lanzoni and Giusy Meloni, and on the Club’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, with Lollo and Francesco Specchia also joining in.

The many visitors at Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2022 were also able to enjoy a speaking session presented by Diletta Leotta, Luigi Ragoni and Daniele Battaglia and featuring Lamberto Siega, AC Milan’s Digital, Media & The Studios Director, and David Monk, Head of Football Acquisition & Activation at KONAMI. All of this has been taking place following the announcement of a new KONAMI esports competition, the Coppa eFootball Italia, which Milan QLASH will take part in.

Lamberto Siega, AC Milan’s Digital, Media & The Studios Director, had the following to say: “We’re proud to have the opportunity to take part in the first edition of the Coppa eFootball Italia presented by Konami and to unveil the team and the new collection that will accompany us this season. At this important event attended by so many esports fans and Rossoneri supporters, the Club has reaffirmed its commitment to going beyond on-the-pitch matters, consolidating itself as a brand capable of expanding into areas such as gaming, esports and the digital world and bringing together millions of fans, starting with the youngest generations.
