125 YEARS OF AC MILAN: THE PROGRAM OF INITIATIVES

A legendary history, a bright future: from the commemorative jersey to the Anniversary matches and collaborations with prestigious brands

AC Milan kicks off the season marking the 125th anniversary of the Club's founding and is pleased to present the initiatives, special events, visual identity, products and collections through which - over the coming months, in Milan and all around the world - it will celebrate this exciting milestone in its legendary history of success together with the entire Rossoneri family.

A story that begins on the night of December 16, 1899, at the Hotel du Nord et des Anglais in Piazza della Repubblica, Milan, from the visionary dream of Englishman Herbert Kilpin and a handful of passionate friends. An idea that became reality, traversing eras of change, with a spirit always capable of anticipating the future, yet remaining true to its essence: a successful football club capable of winning 49 national and international titles - including 7 Champions Leagues, 19 Serie A titles, 5 UEFA Super Cups, and a FIFA Club World Cup -; a social and cultural institution aware of its responsibility towards its reference communities, also reached through the actions of Fondazione Milan; an innovative and global brand that captivates the passion of millions of people worldwide, positioned at the intersection of various worlds such as entertainment, media, fashion, music, and lifestyle culture.

The central thread running through the celebrations will be the timeless Rossoneri soul which has managed to create a community that today embraces over 500 million fans worldwide, united by the same values and the generations of champions who have worn the Rossoneri jersey, writing indelible pages in football history.

A SPECIAL JERSEY CHOSEN BY FANS
During an official match of the 2024/25 season, the two Rossoneri First Teams will wear a special commemorative jersey, created with PUMA and designed together with tens of thousands of Rossoneri fans. In recent months, the Club launched the "Design our jersey, design our legacy" campaign, asking its fans to choose some key elements of this special kit - from the stripe width to the historic badge, to the details inside the collar - and offering participants the chance to win exclusive prizes.

CELEBRATORY MATCHES AND EVENTS: FROM THE 125th ANNIVERSARY WITH FC BARCELONA TO THE SILVIO BERLUSCONI TROPHY AND THE BIRTHDAY WEEKEND MATCH
On the field, the 125th-anniversary celebrations will culminate in December, the month marking the Club's founding anniversary, particularly during the AC Milan v Genoa match, the 16th matchday of the Men's Serie A, when San Siro will host a series of dedicated activations, along with a Women's Serie A matchday. For these two championship matches, the Rossoneri First Teams will wear the special commemorative jerseys created with PUMA. The opportunity to kick off the celebrations will already arise in the summer when the Men's First Team will meet two other historic international football teams, also celebrating their 125th anniversary this year: SK Rapid, which will open the doors of the Allianz Stadion in Hütteldorf, Vienna, on July 20, and FC Barcelona, the opponent at M&T Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 7, in the 2024 Soccer Champions Tour that coach Fonseca's team will play in the United States.

August 13 will be an emotionally intense date for all AC Milan fans: through the "Silvio Berlusconi Trophy," which will be held at San Siro for the first time, one of the brightest chapters in AC Milan's history will be celebrated, under the leadership of President Silvio Berlusconi.

Off the field, in the coming months, the Club will be involved in a series of special events, including a Dinner Gala where many figures from the past, present, and future of Rossoneri history will gather to share the emotions of this significant anniversary. Another special event will take place with the 18th edition of MITO SettembreMusica, a Festival uniting the cities of Milan and Turin through internationally renowned musical events. AC Milan - together with Torino FC, which simultaneously celebrates the 75th anniversary of Superga - will be the first football club to have a contemporary opera dedicated to it. The opera will be performed live, supported by various archival footage.

A NEW FLAGSHIP STORE IN MILAN
Joining the historically significant locations linked to the Club, such as the San Siro stadium and the Mondo Milan Museum located at the Casa Milan headquarters, will be the new Flagship Store on Via Dante, whose ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place tomorrow, 17 July, in the presence of the Senior Management and some players from the Rossoneri First Teams. The new Flagship Store, positioned as a new "destination" for AC Milan fans and a must-see for tourists visiting Milan, is the Rossoneri Club's largest and presents itself as an immersive space and dynamic hub for AC Milan events and initiatives: a space of over 500 square meters, perfect to celebrate its 125th anniversary.

PRESTIGIOUS COLLABORATIONS FROM EMIRATES TO OFF-WHITE, YANKEES TO ASSOULINE
During the 2024/25 season, AC Milan will launch a series of prestigious collaborations with partners and other leading national and international entities. Starting with Principal Partners PUMA and Emirates, which will produce the above-mentioned commemorative jersey and an important project featuring great champions from Rossoneri history. Together with Off-White, the luxury fashion brand and the Club's Style and Culture Curator, and New York Yankees, one of the world's most iconic sports brands, two distinct special apparel collections dedicated to the anniversary will be presented. An unmissable release tied to the story of 125 years of Rossoneri history will see the AC Milan brand associated with Assouline, the world's first luxury cultural brand. The Japanese brand of collectible designer toys Medicom will dedicate an exclusive version of one of its most famous product lines to the Club. In continuity with past seasons, anniversary collections will also be launched alongside New Era, a global leader with an unmistakable style in the headwear sector, and MC2 Saint Barth, an Italian excellence in beachwear. A dedicated activation celebrating the anniversary will also be carried out with Bloomingdale's, the renowned US luxury department store chain, while collaborations with 24Bottles, Gattullo, and Nove25 will create new product lines inspired by the Rossoneri Club.

COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Beyond being a global brand, AC Milan has always been aware of representing a social and cultural institution, capable of having a concrete impact on the lives of millions of people worldwide. For this reason, in the season of its 125th anniversary, the Club intends to further strengthen its commitment, together with Fondazione Milan, the Rossoneri family's public charity, to promoting the positive values of sport, implementing projects and initiatives in support of those living in difficult circumstances and, more generally, all its reference communities.
