"THE PASSION THAT UNITES US": AC MILAN STANDS WITH MILAN'S SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS

For five home games, starting from AC Milan v Torino, the Club will offer its home stadium to various local social organisations which it collaborates with

With the passion of over 550 million fans across the globe, AC Milan is fully aware of its role within society and the importance of directing attention towards all of its communities, starting from the area where the Club was first founded.

Through the new programme "The passion that unites us", which starts on Friday 10 February with the AC Milan v Torino fixture, the Club has decided to use the grandest stage – a home league game in a stadium ready to back its team – to offer visibility to five social organisations that operate in supporting the people of Milan, and who have for years collaborated with AC Milan and Fondazione Milan on structural projects and shared activities.

Taking part in the initiative will be various prestigious entities and welfare pillars of Milan, such as Ente Nazionale Sordi Lombardia (National Body for the Deaf, Lombardy region), who will be guests at the game with Torino, celebrating the anniversary of their two-year partnership with AC Milan for the subtitling and sign language translation of the Rossoneri's digital content. Also involved are Fondazione Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano (Foundation Institute of Milan for the Visually Impaired), PlayMore!, as well as excellent hospital providers Fondazione Istituto dei Tumori (Foundation Institute for Cancer) and the city's Ospedale Policlinico (General Hospital).

Martino Roghi, CSR & Sustainability Manager for AC Milan, commented: "With this initiative, the Club pays tribute to the excellence of our community, with whom we have collaborated for many years now. We are proud to contribute to the extraordinary work undertaken by each and every one of these organisations, and we are happy to showcase them to our supporters."

The programme is part of the wider RespAct Manifesto focusing on social equity, equality and inclusivity, and further strengthens the work the Club has always done for the territory, responding to the residents of Milan, who have in recent times been able to count on the support of AC Milan in response to the Covid-19 emergency and the food crisis.
