AC Milan's Trophy Tour, organised by the Club in partnership with Emirates, continues its journey around the world. At the PUMA Store in The Dubai Mall, the biggest shopping centre in the world for the number of shops, Rossoneri players Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Díaz, and Charles De Ketelaere met over 500 fans who had gathered for the special meet and greet session, as well as the 2021/22 Champions of Italy trophy.
The event allowed fans in attendance to display their passion for the Rossoneri colours, in a region where the AC Milan brand is greatly appreciated. Regarding the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), AC Milan were the most followed Italian team in the 2021/22 season, registering on average 546,000 spectators a match, with a peak of around two million for the game Sassuolo v AC Milan (the most viewed game of the season), followed by AC Milan v Inter with 1.6 million viewers.
At the end of the event, Alexis Saelemaekers said: "It's really great to see the passion of our fans here. We're really pleased to have this opportunity to meet them and spend some time in their company. It's been a really positive experience here in Dubai, preparing for the second part of the season".
The AC Milan Trophy Tour in partnership with Emirates was designed with the fans at the centre of the experience. In fact, the Club is planning to organise a series of events, giving the chance to Milanisti around the world to meet up and celebrate their passion for the Rossoneri colours.
The aim of this Tour is to eliminate the distance between AC Milan and its fans, and to give them the opportunity to interact with the Club directly. This will allow the brand and the Club's values to be taken to every corner of the planet, strengthening the bond that unites AC Milan and its 500 million supporters all over the world.
AC Milan are currently in Dubai for a training camp. Their presence in Dubai demonstrates the Club's commitment to a strategic region, in which the Club this week renewed its partnership with Emirates, and also announced plans to open football's first official Club office in the city.
