OPEN DAY FOR ROSSONERI FANS WITH DISABILITIES

A memorable morning visiting the museum, bistro and shop at Casa Milan, greeted by Daniele Massaro

In the Milan for All programme, the Club promotes tangible projects and initiatives to guarantee the best accessibility to its assets, particularly its physical and digital spaces.

On the International Day of People with Disabilities this morning, Casa Milan opened its doors to some Rossoneri fans with disabilities and their carers, who came to enjoy a memorable experience at the heart of AC Milan.

Guests were able to take part in a free guided tour of the Mondo Milan Museum, that attracted around 43,000 visitors since the start of the current season, reliving 120 years of history and Rossoneri success with a spectacular collection of memorabilia, trophies and exclusive stories. And hosting the very special Rossoneri fans was Brand Ambassador Daniele Massaro, who exchanged a few words and took photos with them, making the experience even more memorable.

At the end of the tour, in a one-off, the Casa Milan Store also gave the guests a special discount on the wide range of official AC Milan and PUMA products in the shop. At the same time, the guests were able to enjoy a free breakfast at the Casa Milan Bistrot, a culinary reference point for all visitors to the Rossoneri facility, as well as for the many sports fans.

"As a Club, we are aware of the importance of embracing all our fans without discrimination of any kind," said Daniele Massaro, AC Milan Brand Ambassador, "and today confirms once again how much these values form the foundation of the Rossoneri DNA. We are proud to have welcomed so many fans with disabilities into our home today, and to have shared with them our successes and all the stories from our Museum."

Martino Roghi, CSR & Sustainability Manager of AC Milan, added: "On this important day, we are happy to give our fans a morning dedicated to the Rossoneri's history at Casa Milan, which along with Mondo Milan Museum, the Bistro and Store represents an important place for all AC Milan fans, in Milan and elsewhere."

As part of the Milan for All programme, the Club is committed to making its spaces increasingly accessible and inclusive for all its fans, at San Siro as well as online at the Casa Milan headquarters. During the current season the Mondo Milan Museum has already hosted a delegation of blind fans on World Sight Day, providing a unique and unforgettable experience for them.

The Rossoneri family's attention to the issues of inclusivity and accessibility is also clear at Fondazione Milan which, through the Sport for All project, uses sport as a tool for inclusion for young people with disabilities.
