FROM SINGAPORE TO JAKARTA: THE SUCCESS OF THE AC MILAN TROPHY TOUR CONTINUES

A rundown of the second part of the Rossonero tour organized in partnership with Emirates

The second part of the AC Milan Trophy Tour, organised by the Rossoneri in partnership with Emirates, has officially come to an end. It has reaffirmed the great success of the initiative, which sees the Club taking the 2021/22 Scudetto Trophy on a global tour to share the joy of last season's league triumph with the over 500 million Rossoneri fans around the world.

Representing AC Milan in the second part of the Tour, which took place in South-East Asia, was AC Milan legend Daniele Massaro, who was welcomed with great warmth and passion in Singapore and Jakarta, the two cities that headlined the second leg of the Tour.

THE MEET & GREET IN SINGAPORE WITH PUMA
Last Friday, the PUMA Flagship Store in Singapore hosted a special Meet & Greet with former Milanista Daniele Massaro, who met the approximately 200 fans in attendance at the event, coming from Singapore and neighbouring countries. For the many Rossoneri who flocked to the Flagship Store - the largest in all of South-East Asia - in the heart of the Lion City, there was also a chance to get a close-up look at and take a photo with the 2021/22 Scudetto Trophy.

On the same morning, Daniele Massaro and the Trophy also paid a visit to the Italian Embassy in Singapore, where the former AC Milan striker met a group of fans and several representatives of the large Italian community living in the country.

THE FAN EVENTS IN JAKARTA IN THE NAME OF CHARITY
On the day that saw AC Milan beat Fiorentina 2-1, in the last league match before the winter break, the Club and Milanisti Indonesia (a local Rossoneri fan club) hosted two special fan events in the Indonesian capital.

The two events were held at the Hotel Borobudur, in the heart of Jakarta, and brought together around 400 local fans who filled the venue to capacity to meet Daniele Massaro and pose for a photo with the symbol of last season's triumph.

In addition to a meet and greet in the afternoon, the Club and Milanisti Indonesia also hosted a special screening event to watch live coverage of the match between the Rossoneri and Fiorentina, in a unique red and black atmosphere that saw Milanisti Indonesia unveil a special visual display before kick-off and sing choruses in Italian in support of the team throughout the match.

Before kick-off, there was also a special charity auction organised by Milanisti Indonesia with the support of the Club and Fondazione Milan, which saw a number of signed AC Milan shirts being auctioned off to raise funds for the families of the victims of the recent tragedy at Kanjuruhan Stadium.

The event in Jakarta, in fact, did not simply represent a moment of unity with the many local Rossoneri fans, but it was also an opportunity to remember the 135 victims of the tragedy at Kanjuruhan Stadium. A minute's silence was observed before the start of the match, while Milanisti Indonesia used the events organised by the Club to collect donation for the families of the victims.

The events organised in South East-Asia for the AC Milan Trophy Tour in partnership with Emirates followed a successful first part of the Tour, which saw the Club host events for over 2,500 fans in London and New York City.

The AC Milan Trophy Tour in partnership with Emirates was created within the framework of "From Milan to Many", a series of events promoted by the Club to embrace the over 500 million fans worldwide. The Tour, which will continue in other destinations to be unveiled in the coming weeks, aims to promote the AC Milan brand as well as its values to all corners of the globe, strengthening the bond that unites AC Milan and its fans globally.
