The lights of BOXPARK Wembley in London lit up last night, Tuesday 4 October, as it hosted the first stop of the AC Milan Trophy Tour in partnership with Emirates, organised by the Club to be closer to its over 500 million fans worldwide.
At 7:00pm local time, around 2,000 Rossoneri fans, including the Milan London Club and other Rossoneri Fan Clubs from across the UK and Europe, packed into BOXPARK Wembley for an evening of celebration. The star of the event was the 2021/22 Scudetto Trophy, proudly on display at the venue. AC Milan legends Alessandro Nesta and Daniele Massaro attended the event to meet with local fans and take part in a Q&A on stage. The pair of former Rossoneri players shared their memories of their trophy-laden careers and also discussed Pioli's team, the victory of the 19th Scudetto and the much-anticipated Champions League game against Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge tonight. The excitement of the event, designed with a fan-centred approach, continued with a screening of an old Milan match to get the fans fired up ahead of tonight's game.
Alessandro Nesta commented: "Meeting the Rossoneri fans in London has been a fantastic experience. Witnessing their passion and dedication filled my heart with joy. This is a testament to the power and the appeal of the AC Milan brand at an international level". Daniele Massaro added, pointing at fans: "See why AC Milan is excellence? Because our fans are wonderful. AC Milan is the best part of me. I feel like I have never worn the ACM jersey, because red and black is actually my second skin".
The London stop of the Trophy Tour continued today. From 1:00pm to 3:00pm local time, Daniele Massaro was at the PUMA Store London Carnaby, in the heart of the UK's capital, along with the Scudetto Trophy, giving fans another opportunity to take a picture with the symbol of last season's triumph.
The Trophy Tour, organised in partnership with the Club's long-standing partner Emirates, aims to put the fans - the beating heart of the AC Milan family - at the centre. The Tour will now continue at JAY-Z's exclusive 40/40 Club in Manhattan, New York. As part of the event, fans will be able to watch together the unmissable showdown between AC Milan vs Juventus game, one of Serie A's highest-profile games, on Saturday 8 October. As part of the New York stop, on Friday 7 October between 5:00pm and 7:00pm EDT, fans will also have the opportunity to see the 2021/22 Scudetto Trophy up close at the PUMA NYC Flagship Store, located at 609 5th Avenue.
With the AC Milan Trophy Tour, aims to bridge distances and represents a new way for the Rossoneri to engage fans, allowing the Club to bring the AC Milan brand and its values around the world. The programme includes a series of fans events to celebrate the passion for the red and black colours. All the events fall under the "From Milan to Many" campaign, which over the past few months has brought the AC Milan colours around the globe with screening parties at Expo 2020 Dubai and in New York City. More dates will be added to the AC Milan Trophy Tour and announced officially in the next few weeks.
