The meetings under the banner of "All the colours of sport" are continuing in earnest. This campaign, which was created by AC Milan in collaboration with Banco BPM, is aimed at carrying out the Club's duties in the community and has been further bolstered by the publication of the RespAct Manifesto for the promotion of social equity, equality and inclusivity.
As such, on Monday 28 February, Women's First Team goalkeeper Laura Giuliani met with 150 students from the Cardano di Milano Secondary School to lend her insight to the awareness-raising campaign on the topics of tolerance and inclusivity, which has already been initiated by secondary schools in the Lombardy region.
"In the dressing room, there are always girls that come from all over the world," said the Rossonere's number 1, who was participating in this initiative for the second time. "Being a part of a team means coming into contact with different cultures, which allows an exchange of values, culture and prospects. Every one of us is different: when we understand that there is no right and wrong, then discrimination will end."
As part of their social responsibility responsibilities, AC Milan are contributing to impart upon the youth the requisite knowledge and consciousness to recognise key themes and the tools needed to tackle them, thereby promoting inclusivity and tolerance via campaigns, which take concrete action for cultural change.
