The draw has taken place in Nyon: AC Milan will face Tottenham in the Champions League round of 16. After taking on Chelsea, FC Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb during the group stage, the Rossoneri now know they'll be continuing their European adventure against the English side, coached by Antonio Conte. The first leg will be played at San Siro on Tuesday 14 February at 21:00 CET, while the return leg will take place on Wednesday 8 March (kick-off 21:00 CET) at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which will be our first-ever visit.
There have been four previous meetings with Spurs: two in the 1971/72 UEFA Cup semi-finals (2-1 for Tottenham in the first leg, 1-1 in Milan) and twice in the 2010/11 Champions League Round of 16 (0-1 at San Siro, 0-0 in London). It's a record the Rossoneri will want to change, who last went through in a two-legged tie against an English side in Europe's top competition in the 2011/12 Round of 16 against Arsenal.
