MVP FOR AUGUST: CHRISTIAN PULISIC

Two goals in three games. There you have it, Christian Pulisic's start to the season. After the assists (two to Pobega against Lumezzane at Milanelo and one to Tomori against Real Madrid in America) and the good signs in general that he showed during pre-season, the American has reaffirmed and even improved his performances from the start of the official season, when it really counts. 

On his debut a great shot from distance, his first at San Siro an easy tap-in: Bologna and Torino, two goals to lead us to victory. If the Rossoneri are top of the league right now (level with Inter) with maximum points gained, that's surely owed at least in part to the Hershey native, one of the brightest new faces from AC Milan's summer window. After being voted MVP of Bologna-AC Milan and AC Milan-Torino, our fans voted him August MVP. 

Our number 11 beat out his teammates, Giroud and Reijnders in the vote. An extremely positive month for him  already fully settled and involved in the team's dynamics. Pioli has not hesitated to deploy him as a starter in every match of Serie A, even in Rome where he only grazed the net, showing that he wants to shine again in the coming months. 

Deployed on the right in the 4-3-3, he has provided technique, legs and offensive output: in one word, quality. Not a bad calling card. He is making the difference, a strong player, a very valuable pawn at this level of the game. The goal is to continue like this towards the next and even more important matches (Champions League included). For now, well done Christian!
