BENNACER IS THE MVP FROM CAGLIARI v AC MILAN

It comes as no surprise that the Rossoneri fans have voted Ismaël Bennacer as the MVP from AC Milan’s 1-0 victory away to Cagliari, a result that could be hugely significant going forward. The Algerian midfielder, who had already been the Rossoneri’s best performer against Inter in the Coppa Italia and win over Napoli earlier this month, produced another outstanding performance and thus continued his excellent run of form.

Isma’s display wasn’t just limited to his splendid goal, however: he was the Rossonero who attempted the most shots (four, the same as Giroud), made the most successful passes (50) and recoveries (13) and completed the most dribbles (3). Furthermore, he had the second-most touches (93, behind only Calabria). The numbers are proof, then, that he really was deserving of the MVP award. Well done, Isma!
