KESSIE MVP OF ATALANTA V AC MILAN

Rossoneri fans overwhelmingly voted for Franck as the best player in the game

A giant. AC Milan owe their 2-0 win in Bergamo to Franck Kessie's brace. And his goals over the course of the season had a big influence in AC Milan finishing second and qualifying for the Champions League. 13 in the recently-finished Serie A season (14 in all comps and six assists), often from the spot where he struck with all the coolness in the world at the Gewiss Stadium.

The Ivorian won a landslide victory in our MVP poll from Atalanta 0-2 AC Milan, picking up over 90% of the votes; ahead of Kjær, Calabria and Tomori.

It was a memorable performance during what has been a superb campaign for our No.79, with his shirt number also coinciding with the Diavolo’s points tally for the season. He was magnificent for the entire 90 minutes on Sunday evening, covering every inch of grass during a decisive display. In addition to his two goals from the penalty spot, he was determined and tenacious as he led from midfield.

In total, he had 65 touches against Atalanta, while also completing 22 progressive passes. That is on top of winning three duels won and three interceptions. He was also on the receiving end of two fouls. Overall, he was outstanding. Congratulations Franck!
