FRANCK KESSIE CROWNED MVP FROM SAMPDORIA V AC MILAN

The Ivorian scored from the penalty spot and dominated in midfield on Sunday

Dominant in midfield and ice-cold from the penalty spot. The fulcrum of the Rossoneri midfield, Franck Kessie, was decisive for AC Milan at the Marassi. As an immediate response to his missed second penalty against Fiorentina, Franck stepped up against Audero and made no mistake. His goal broke the deadlock in the first half, with the Ivorian then contributing throughout to help Milan secure all three points.

In addition to his goal, he also made 76 passes against Sampdoria, while also winning back possession in 12 occasions. His physicality and fitness were integral in midfield, as he paired up brilliantly alongside Tonali. Scoring what was his fourth goal of the Serie A season, this now improves his tally to 20 in a Rossoneri shirt. Sunday’s MVP award goes to no other than Franck Kessie!
