Scarioni

A footballing role model for his strong commitment and attachment to the jersey, Alessandro Scarioni made his debut for AC Milan in a successful derby in January 1909. The Milan-born, hard-fighting midfielder never missed a training session or a match for 12 years straight, except for a forced interruption when he was called to military service in the 1915/16 season. In 1919, he was finally given the captain’s armband and continued as captain until his retirement.
